24. Jim Kiick

Jim Kiick may not have been a Hall of Famer like his fellow Back and teammate, Larry Csonka, but he brought an excellent set of skills to the Miami Dolphins after arriving as a sixth rounder from Wyoming in 1968.

Kiick was power runner with good receiving hands and above-average blocking ability.  He would earn a spot on the Pro Bowl in his first two seasons, with him leading the league in Rushing Touchdowns with nine in ’69.  Kiick would also have at least 1,000 Yards from Scrimmage in his first four seasons.  He would see fewer touches in the years after, but he was a help in Miami's three consecutive AFC Championships, and back-to-back Super Bowl wins.

Kiick, along with Larry Csonka and Paul Warfield, would sign with the Memphis Southmen of the World Football League.  When it folded, Kiick returned to the NFL, but joined the Denver Broncos, though he would retire a year later.

As a Dolphin, he would accumulate 3,644 Rushing Yards, 2,210 Receiving Yards, and 31 Touchdowns.
