36. Melvin Ingram

Melvin Ingram was a First Round Pick in 2012 who was used as a backup Linebacker in his rookie year.  A torn ACL in his second training camp kept him out most of the year, but he returned and methodically worked his way into one of the better defensive players of the year.

Ingram had a breakout 2015 year with 10.5 Sacks, which was a number he would repeat in 2017.  That season marked Ingram’s first trip to the Pro Bowl, and he would be part of a resurgence of the team’s defensive skill.  Ingram, who is still a Charger, had a three-year run of Pro Bowls from 2017 to 2019 and was one Sack away from 50 as a Charger.  He left the Chargers for Pittsburgh in 2021.
