Lawrence Timmons

Lawrence Timmons had a good career at Florida State, and the Pittsburgh Steelers drafted him in the First Round (15thOverall) in 2007. Timmons was a backup in his first two seasons and won a Super Bowl when the Steelers defeated the Arizona Cardinals to win the 2008 Season.

After that championship, Timmons became Pittsburgh’s starting Right Inside Linebacker, and he would play in that capacity from 2009 to 2016 with a Pro Bowl Selection in 2014.  Timmons had six years where he had at least 106 Tackles, and in his Pro Bowl year, he peaked at 132.  He played one final year in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins in 2017, and he left the game with 1,067 Combined Tackles and 35.5 Sacks.
