The Rock and Wrestling connection took the pop culture world by storm in the mid-80’s and Hollywood took notice by making a film…that wasn’t very good. Played by a bunch of nobodies, Kick was the band who went on the road with Rowdy Roddy Piper and Face from the A-Team. It was a good thing that Piper was there as he distracted from the fact that Kick…sucked.

Songs you might remember: None
Why you should vote for them: Just for the sake of being a “Rowdy” Roddy Piper fan.
Why you should not vote for them: Even by Hair Music standards this was bad.
John Candy and a Polka Band? Gang, you have two choices as apart from the Schmenge Brothers, you have Gus Polinski who led the Kickers and were kind enough to help Kate McAllister get home to Chicago to see her son Kevin who was left “Home Alone”. Shouldn’t we thank God for John Candy?
The Bullet Points: Movie Appeared: Home Alone (1990)
Actor: John Candy (Gus Polinski) Edward Bruzan Frank Cernugel Eddie Korosa John Hardy Robert Okrzesik Leo Perion Vince Waidzulis
Songs you might remember: None
Why you should vote for them: They were huge in Kenosha…well on the Polka circuit anyway.
Why you should not vote for them: How can you vote for a group you never saw play?
Kaptain Kool and the Kongs was a Rock band created for the Krofft Supershow; a Saturday Morning children’s variety show from the 70’s. They were presented as wacky and goofy (and frankly acted like they had too much sugar or perhaps a different substance) though were mostly just annoying; though most of things produced by the Kroffts had those qualities.
The Bullet Points: TV Show Appeared: The Krofft Supershow (1976-78)
Actors: Michael Lembeck (Kaptain Kool) Debra Clinger (Superchick) Michael McMeel (Turkey) Louise DuArt (Nashville) Bert Sommer (Flatbush)
Songs you might remember: And I Never Dreamed
Why you should vote for them: They were the focal point of a show that did last two seasons.
Why you should not vote for them: Voting for anyone named Kaptain Kool…isn’t very cool.
We have to admit we get a real big kick out of this one. Kandy Floss was a fake band that was created only for the purpose of convincing 10 B-Level British celebrities that it was real. Confused? Let’s see if we can clear this one up.
