Admittedly, we really don’t think this should even be considered, but if you took a look at our Fictitious Athlete Hall of Fame, you can tell that we love the White Shadow, so when they formed a group based on their singing Motown songs in the shower and tried to get radio play, we couldn’t help but nominate them. The Bullet Points: TV Show Appeared: The White Shadow (1981) Actors: Byron Stewart (Warren Coolidge) Kevin Hooks (Morris Thorpe) Timothy Van Patten (Mario “Salami” Pettrino) Songs you might remember: None Why you should vote for them: Really you shouldn’t. If you have love for this show, spread it to the Fictitious Athlete HOF. Why you should not vote for them: This was not a memorable episode, and it took place in their weak third and final season. {youtube}

Shasta McNasty was basically an updated version of the Monkees where the interracial Rap/Rock trio was constantly getting into wacky adventures. Unlike the Monkees, we did not hear much of their music, and again unlike the Monkees, nobody watched it as it was cancelled after once season. The Bullet Points: TV Show Appeared: Shasta McNasty (1999-2000) Actors: Jake Busey (Dennis) Carmine Giovinazzo (Scott) Dale Godboldo (Randy) Songs you might remember: None Why you should vote for them: The best reason we have as how much Jake Busey looks like his dad, Gary. Seriously, that is the best we got. Why you should not vote for them: This was a horrible show. {youtube}

In another entry on the ballot that we guess qualifies (and we are stretching this we admit) we have Sharpay and Ryan Evans, were the diva like brother and sister team from the very profitable High School Musical trilogy who were looking to make it as singers. Well, they sang a lot in the series, so this should qualify right? The Bullet Points: Movies Appeared: High School Musical (2006) High School Musical 2 (2007) High School Musical 3: Senior Year (2008) Actors: Ashley Tisdale Lucas Grabeel Songs you might remember: Breaking Free I Want it All Bop to the Top Why you should vote for them: Say what you want about this series, but it was very successful. Why you should not vote for them: This may have been successful, but they only sang, and were not really part of any band. This should be counted against them. Also….what kind of name is Sharpay? {youtube}

Dear God, spare us from having to write up this piece of stink. Sadly, this is not referring to the Beatles Album as technically they never adopted any other persona so they don’t really qualify here. No, this is film adaptation that really nobody asked for, and frankly trying to recap the plot gives us a headache. Basically, we have Billy Shears (Peter Frampton) who somehow recruits his friends the Henderson Brothers (The Bee Gees) to form his band. Confused yet? Either way, watching the film won’t resolve any unanswered questions. The Bullet Points: Movie Appeared: Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (1978) Actors: Peter Frampton (Billy Shears) The Bee Gees (The Henderson Brothers) Songs you might remember: A bunch of Beatles Covers Why you should vote for them: Well…they tried at least. Why you should not vote for them: This movie was a prom night dumpster baby. {youtube}
