J. J. Putz

For a couple of years, J.J. Putz was one of the better relief pitchers in the game and had four seasons where he eclipsed 30 Saves.  In 2007, he would lead the American League in Games Finished and also went to the All Star Game.

Heath Bell

Heath Bell would exceed the 40 Saves mark three seasons in a row as a member of the San Diego Padres.  Bell would also be a three time All Star and was a National League Saves Champion in 2009.

Eric Chavez

While Eric Chavez was never an All Star he was a Gold Glove recipient six years in a row and had a 37.4 career bWAR and a career OPS of .818.  No wonder the Oakland Athletics held him in such high regard for years.

Cliff Lee

Cliff Lee took his time on the mound, and the longer he took, the more worried batters became.  Lee was a clutch pitcher (as shown by his excellent post seasons statistics) and is a former American League Cy Young Winner.  Lee would also lead the league once in ERA, twice in FIP and once in WHIP.
