The game is played with offense and defense. If the best offesnive position players get in to the HOF, then the best defensive position [players should be equally considered.

I would like to make a clarificatio n. Omar Vizquel is the Modern Era leader in combo sacrifice flies and hits with 350. The next closest Modern Era player has not even reached 500.

One reason some of these baseball players are falling short of the Hall is the lack of acknowledgem ent of their sacrifice hit and sacrifice fly abilities.
Did you know that Omar Vizquel is the all time leading Combo Sac hit and Sac Fly leader with 350? Nobody else has even reached 300.
The combo sac hit and sac fly stat does not even exist as an official category. a slap in the face for all MLB players who played the game the right way and did not use steroids.
