From the 70s TV Show, Eight is Enough, Willie Aames (who played Tommy Bradford) became a teen idol of sorts, and like many teens in the late 70's and early 80's he also fancied himself as a musician of sorts. Aames actually wasn't bad, and he had his own band named Willie Aames and the Paradise. His character, of course, had a group too (Tommy Bradford and the Action) called Tommy Bradford and the Action, and they played a local telethon. Later on, Tommy played a record executive in the reunion shows.
