From the same hometown as Jennifer Marlowe, T.J. Watson arrives at W.K.R.P., reminding Jennifer that she made a childhood promise to marry him. Needless to say, Jennifer was not interested, and she pretended to be married to Dr. Johnny Fever so that T.J. would leave. He didn't, and it turned out to be a ruse as he was a singer/songwriter looking for a break and thought that Jennifer could assist as she worked at a radio station. As it turned out, W.K.R.P. Program Director Andy Travis thought the native of Rock Throw, West Virginia, was talented and helped him record a demo. As to whether or not he sold any records remains a mystery and but the man who played him, Hoy Axton certainly did.
