Roy Clark made multiple appearances on the Beverly Hillbillies as “Cousin” Roy Halsey, who at first was just singing songs to Ellie May but blossomed into a successful singer in his own right. Of course, the Clampetts assist him along the way into becoming a big music star, though Cousin Jethro is really no help.
