Ring of Honor announced that former Champion, CM Punk will join The Briscoe Brothers, Bryan Danielson and Samoa Joe as part of the first Hall of Fame Class.
Making his ROH debut in 2002 won the ROH Tag Team Titles twice with Colt Cabana, and the ROH World Title in 2005 when he defeated Austin Aries. His most famous run was the “Summer of Punk” when he had signed with the WWE, but was still the ROH Champion. He finally lost the title to James Gibson in a four-way match.

Ring of Honor announced that former Champion, Samoa Joe, will join The Briscoe Brothers and Bryan Danielson as part of the first Hall of Fame Class.
Joe debuted for ROH in their inaugural year, 2002, and he climbed up the ladder quickly, defeating Xavier for the ROH World Title. Holding the belt for 21 months, he had classic title defenses against CM Punk, which were considered some of the best wrestling in North America at the time. Following his title loss to Austin Aries, he would defeat Jay Lethal for the Pure Championship. Joe also had another legendary match for the promotion against Japanese legend, Kenta Kobashi.

A week after Ring of Honor announced that the Briscoes (Mark & Jay), the wrestling promotion announced that Bryan Danielson will also be part of the inaugural class.
Danielson competed in the main event of the first ever ROH event in 2002, and three years later “The American Dragon” defeated James Gibson for the ROH World Championship. He would make 38 Title defenses before losing to Homicide, ending a 463-day reign as champion.

While Ring of Honor has seen better days, having announced they are moving forward without any contracted talents, they are still operating, and have announced they will be having their own Hall of Fame. The first inductees have been announced, Mark and Jay Briscoe, the most successful tag team in the promotion’s history.
The pair were with ROH when the organization started back in 2002. Winning 12 Tag Team Titles with ROH, as well as being the current champs, Jay Briscoe also won the ROH World Championship twice.
There will be inductees revealed over the next three Mondays.
