Beef

Beef
Part Bowie, part transvestite and part diva, the character of Beef was in the wrong place at the wrong time as evidenced by his death by neon lightning bolt on stage. Actually, that doesn’t sound like a bad way to go.

The Bedrock Rockers

Bedrock Rockers The
Utilizing the common TV plot device that ages children without explanation, the children of the Flintstones and Rubbles were now troublemaking teenagers who had their own Bubblegum Pop group, with their three friends (Moonrock, Penny and Wiggy). They were a little late to cash in on that genre of Pop, but their animated show did a little better than most.

The Be Sharps

The Be Sharps
In one of the most famous Simpsons episodes of all time, we learn of Homer’s past singing career as a member of the successful Barbershop Quartet, The Be Sharps. How successful were they? Well, they had a major hit (Baby on Board) and won the Grammy for Soul, Spoken Word and Barber Shop Quartet! Of course, like all successful Barber Shop groups; they were a victim of their own success, and a Yoko Ono lookalike.

The BC-52's

BC-52s Thejpg
Basically playing a “stone age” version of themselves, The B-52’s gave us a new version of the classic Flintstones theme song and performed at a club in the film. This movie was a major hit, but was an artistic disaster, and speaking for ourselves, we would rather remember them for Rock Lobster and not for Bedrock Lobster. Sorry for that terrible pun.

This film is a disaster.
