One of the better Guards of the early days of football, Swede Youngstrom, was the stabilizing force behind the Buffalo All-American/Bisons teams that twice came within a game of the NFL Championship.  Twice a First Team All-Pro (1923 & 1924), the expert Lineman was one of the best at his side of the ball, and while it was not recorded officially, it is believed that he was one of the top punt blockers of his time.  Late in his career, he would help the Frankford Yellow Jackets win the NFL Championship in 1926.  He would play one more year in the NFL, again with Frankford where he served as their Player/Coach.

Playing his college ball at TCU, Sherrill Headrick was not drafted by either the National Football League or the American Football League in 1960, who was beginning their operation.  Headrick was eventually signed by the Dallas Texans, where in the first three seasons he was a First Team All-Pro and was a significant force on the Texans' 1962 AFL Championship.

Bobby Walston played his entire 12-year career (1951-62) with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he was one of the most versatile offensive weapons that the team would have.  The former Georgia Bulldog played at Wide Receiver, Tight End, and Kicker and excelled at all of them.  A member of the 1960 NFL Championship Team, Walston would catch 311 passes for 5,363 Yards for 46 Touchdowns.  With his leg, he would twice lead the NFL in Field Goal Percentage, and with his dual duty as a Receiver and Kicker, he would amass 881 career Points.  Walston would be chosen for the Pro Bowl in both 1960 and 1961, and probably should have had been named to more.

A member of the prestigious Miami Dolphins Honor Roll, Bob Baumhower, played all nine of his NFL seasons with the team from Southern Florida.  A former star with the Alabama Crimson Tide, Baumhower was a five-time Pro Bowl Selection, and he would be chosen for an All-Pro roster (one First Team and four Second Team) in all of those years.  Baumhower was a key figure on the Dolphins defense in the early '80s that was considered among the best in the league.
