Fred Quillan was a late round pick from Oregon in 1978, and the former Duck played all of his professional games in the National Football League with the team that drafted him, the San Francisco 49ers.

Frankie Albert was the 10^th overall pick in 1942 by the Chicago Bears, but remember, the year in question was 1942.  The Stanford graduate would serve in the Navy for World War II, and upon his return, he would opt to play for his home state for the Los Angeles Bulldogs of the Pacific Coast League, before joining the San Francisco 49ers of the upstart All-American Football Conference.

The first player to accumulate five Super Bowl Rings was Charles Haley, who collected the first two of those finger jewelry as a San Francisco 49er.
