An Olympic Gold Medalist in 1988, Charles Nagy debuted in the Majors for the Cleveland Indians in 1990 and remained with them for 13 seasons.

Starting 297 of his 313 Games with Cleveland, Nagy was one of their best Pitchers of the 1990s. The hurler would have five years where he managed at least 15 Wins and three where he was in the top ten in bWAR for Pitchers.  Nagy, who won 17 Games three times, went to the All-Star in all of those seasons, also enjoyed three top-ten Cy Young finishes.

Nagy finally left Cleveland for San Diego, where he played one year before retiring.  He posted a 129-103 record for the Indians.

In 2007, he was chosen for the Indians' Hall of Fame.
