Peter Forsberg.....Well. that didn't take long.

Well....Just when it seemed we had an interesting thought about Peter Forsberg; he up and retires on us.

The Swedish Superstar's comeback lasted only two games and thirty-five minutes on the ice, yet he deemed his past injuries to render him ready for a permanent trip to the golf course.  Forsberg did not hit the 1,000 point mark but his International play makes him a serious HOF contender in our eyes.  When eligible (should he not return to European Pro Hockey)  in three years, we think he will habe a solid upper rank on our list.  What do you all think?

He was a hall of fame player for about 3-4 years. All the other years he was either injured or riding the coattails of deserving hall fo famer Joe Sakic (even though I hate the guy.)
And no I don't think Lindros, or Pavel Bure, should get in either. I'm just saying that if they have to choose between Lindros and Forsberg they should put Lindros in.

Hey, it's not his fault your team traded him and he wound up winning every award imaginable.

Please, hall of fame committee, please, don't put this jackass Peter Forsberg in the hockey hall of fame, don't put him or Eric Lindros in and if you're forced to put one of them in, pick Lindros. Please hockey hall of fame committe, I'm, begging you.
