26. Erik Johnson

As of this writing, Erik Johnson has been one of the better American Defenseman in the NHL for the past few seasons.

Arriving from St. Louis in a 2011 trade, Johnson brought a booming shot from the point and has logged a lot of minutes as a shutdown blueliner.  Johnson has had two seasons with ten or more goals for the Avalanche, and he would have a 39 Point season in 2013-14.

To date, Johnson has 196 Points for Colorado.
