Guillermo Mota may have the dishonor of being one of the few players in Baseball history to be suspended twice for PED use, but the Middle Reliever was able to win the World Series in two of his last three seasons, which was spent with the San Francisco Giants.

Francisco Cordero spent his entire Major League Baseball career as a Relief Pitcher and is one of the few hurlers to reach over 300 in Saves. Three times, Cordero was named to the All Star team and the fastball specialist finished second in Saves three times and was in the top five five times.

Chris Carpenter

Once Chris Carpenter oiled his trade with the St. Louis Cardinals, he became a bonafide ace. Carpenter captured the National League Cy Young Award in 2005 and was the runner up and second runner up for the Award in 2009 and 2006 respectively. The three time All Star was often decimated by injuries, which took away a large chunk of his career and forced him to an early retirement. With a career bWAR of 35.5 and realistically only three really good seasons, it is hard to make a strong case for Cooperstown.

Carlos Zambrano

Carlos Zambrano spent all but one season with the Chicago Cubs and was a three time All Star who led the National League in Wins in 2006. A versatile Pitcher with a varying array of pitches, Zambrano was also a very good hitting Pitcher who earned the Silver Slugger three times. The Venezuelan retired with a decent record of 132 and 91 with 1,637 Strikeouts and a bWAR of 38.2. He did have a decent career, but it is difficult to envision Zambrano getting past his first year of eligibility.
