Blip Sanders

A bit (or a lot) of a generic character, Blip Sanders (was this name inspired by former Padre, Bip Roberts?) seems to merely there to be in the “friend” role, AKA, the sounding board for the main characters.  A former minor league teammate of Ginny Baker and coming off of his first All Star Game, we learn that he is a good payer but until we learn more about this character it is hard to imagine him gaining traction here.

Billy Autrey

While we don’t expect a swell of support for Billy Autrey, we wonder if some will vote for him for the same reason that we nominated him: the nickname he was given of “Bueter”.  He did come off as a bit of a dick though didn’t he…or at the very least someone you would give a not so flattering nickname to if he was in your social circle.

Billy "The Great" Hope

You have to respect the method acting of Jake Gyllenhaal who looked every bit of the Light Heavyweight Boxing Champion he portrayed.  As Billy “The Great” Hope, Gyllenhaal’s character undergoes a modern twist of the boxer struggling for redemption after his wife was accidentally shot following a brawl instigated by up and coming contender, Miguel Escobar a la Clubber Lang in Rocky III…minus the shooting of course. (though didn’t Lang inadvertently lead to Mickey’s death).

Anakin Skywalker

There will be some point on this series of websites where we will go into pages upon pages on what George Lucas did wrong in the first Star Wars prequel. (actually, there is a bible worth of wrong) This might be the first step as the pint-sized version of Darth Vader (yippee!) looked nothing like someone who could even hold a light saber let alone become a champion pod racer.
