Yes, we know that this is taking a while!
As many of you know, we at Notinhalloffame.com are slowly generating the top 50 of each major North American sports team. That being said, we maintain and update our existing Top 50 lists annually. As such, we are delighted to present our pre-2025/26 revision of our top 50 Dallas Stars.
As for all of our top 50 players in hockey, we look at the following:
1. Advanced Statistics.
2. Traditional statistics and how they finished in the National Hockey League.
3. Playoff accomplishments.
4. Their overall impact on the team and other intangibles that are not reflected in a stat sheet.
Last year, Dallas advanced to their third consecutive Western Conference Final, but the results have all been the same with a third-round exit. The loaded team did not generate a new entrant on the Top 50, but there were multiple elevations based on last year.
As always, we present our top five, which remain unchanged.
1. Mike Modano
2. Sergei Zubov
3. Jamie Benn
4. Marty Turco
5. Tyler Seguin
You can find the entire list here.
Notably, within the top five, active players Jamie Benn remained at number three, and Tyler Seguin also held the number five spot.
Defenseman Miro Heiskanen went up three spots to #22.
Left Wing Jason Robertson climbed nine spots to #26.
Defenseman Esa Lindell advanced four spots to #29.
Left Wing Roope Hintz reached #37 from #34.
Goalie Jake Oettinger went from #50 to #42.
We thank you for your continued support of our lists on Notinhalloffame.com.
