41. Patrik Sundstrom

After five productive seasons in Vancouver, Swedish Center, Patrik Sundstrom was dealt to New Jersey, where he continued his healthy level of two-way play.

Sundstrom had 51 Points in his first full year as a Devil (1987-88), which was significantly lower than his previous numbers in Vancouver.  However, in Game 3 of the Patrick Division Final, Sundstrom set a playoff record by scoring eight Points.  Sundstrom had 69 and 76 Points in his next two years, with the latter seeing the Center also finish ninth in Frank J. Selke voting.

Sundstrom was injured for most of the 1991-92 Season, and he chose not to return to the NHL, opting instead to go back to Sweden.  He would have 246 Points in 305 Games as a Devil.
