gold star for USAHOF

28. Dale Hunter

28. Dale Hunter

Dale Hunter was a tough as nails hockey player who would score as quickly as he would enter the penalty box.  As a rookie with the Quebec Nordiques, he would score 63 Points, and in four of the next five campaigns with Quebec, he would reach the 60 Point mark.

In all of those seasons mentioned above, the Center would accumulate over 200 Penalty Minutes, which made him one of the most unique hockey players ever.  Hunter would be traded to the Washington Capitals in 1987, and twelve years later, he was traded back where he played a half-season to finish off his career.

Nicknamed the "Nuisance," Hunter will always be remembered in the annals of Quebec City hockey.  His overall stats with the Nordiques/Avalanche would see him score 464 Points.
