50. Ryan O'Reilly

After six productive seasons with the Colorado Avalanche, Ryan O’Reilly was traded to the Buffalo Sabres in June of 2015.

The multi-faceted Center was only in Buffalo for three seasons, posting good Point tallies of 60, 55, and 61.  O’Reilly, who won the Lady Byng in 2013-14, finished in the top ten in all three years of his Buffalo tenure and also received Frank J. Selke Award votes in all three seasons.

The struggling Sabres traded O’Reilly for three players and two draft picks.  In O’Reilly’s first year in St. Louis, he won the Selke and the Conn Smythe Trophy as the Blues won their first Stanley Cup.  With the Sabres, O’Reilly had 176 Points in 224 Games.
