28. Doug Bodger

Doug Bodger was a 16-year veteran of the NHL, whose second team was the Buffalo Sabres, who acquired him in the transaction that sent Goalie Tom Barrasso to Pittsburgh.

Bodger was an underrated blueliner who had his best years in Buffalo.  Traded to the Sabres early in the 1988-89 season, Bodger finished the year with 52 Points and would have three more years with Buffalo where he cracked the 45-Point threshold, peaking with 54 Points n 1992-93.  Bodger would often be used by Buffalo on their power play, and he did have 33 goals with the man-advantage for them.

Bodger was traded to San Jose during the 1995-96 season, and he left the Sabres with 287 Points.
