The native of Czechoslovakia, Satan began his career with the Edmonton Oilers, but the Left Wing was not there for long, as the Oilers traded him for two players who, combined, would not be as effective as Satan became. In his second full year as a Sabre (1998-99), he started a five-year streak where he broke the 60-Point plane, with the last two years reaching 70 Points. Satan also made the All-Star Game twice (2000 & 2003) during this time period.
After scoring 57 Points in 2003-04, he signed with the New York Islanders. Satan would later win a Stanley Cup Ring with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2009. With the Sabres, Satan amassed 456 Points.
