202. Mark Streit

Arriving in the NHL at 28, Mark Streit came in as a brilliant swing player whose offensive sensibilities from the blueline made him a very effective two-way player. Streit would really come into his own as a member of the New York Islanders and would earn the distinction of being the first Swiss-born captain of an NHL team. An All-Star in 2009, Streit would internationally captain the Swiss team for years.

10. Marian Hossa

Exceeding the 1,000 Point mark in the National Hockey League is a milestone that few can claim, but that is not necessarily an automatic induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Slovakian born forward, Marian Hossa has accomplished that and then some as he is a three time Stanley Cup winner with the Chicago Blackhawks. His Hall of Fame candidacy will be very interesting as while he is accumulating a solid resume, he was only a post season All Star once (Second Team in 2009, but is a five time All Star Game participant.

Joe Thornton

A one time winner of the Hart Trophy as the NHL’s Most Valuable Player, Joe Thornton as of this writing is already considered on the inside track to the Hockey Hall of Fame. In addition to the three Harts, Thornton is a one time scoring champion, a three time assists champion a one time First Team All Star and was a Second Team All Star three times.

Brian Campbell

A very disciplined Defenceman, the classy Brian Campbell has been under the radar for many casual fans but is a former Second Team All Star selection and a four time All Star Game participant. Campbell is also a former recipient of the Lady Byng and a key member of the 2010 Stanley Cup Championship team with the 2010 Chicago Blackhawks.
