With distinct riffs and precise timing, Queens of the Stone Age cultivated a broad appeal. They had a throwback quality to Classic Rock fans though with a current modern and Alternative feel. As such, they managed significant radio play without having to sacrifice what made them unique as a band. As of this writing, they would likely have to increase their catalogue of music to enter the Hall as the backlog of qualified artists is certainly staggering.

Orgy

They called their music Death Pop, but they were more accurately labeled as an Alternative Metal band that was capable of melodies. What that makes them unfortunately were followers and not innovators and when your largest hit was a New Order cover (though we think it was a good one), you can’t possibly meet the Hall’s innovation quotient.

N'Sync

If we go by post breakup success, N’Sync was pretty much Justin Timberlake and four other guys; which were probably fairly accurate. We have sad before that Boy Bands don’t belong in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and we don’t plan on changing our opinion here.

Nate Dogg

Although Nate Dogg was associated with a large amount if hits, it was always as a side role. Dogg has since left us so his body of work will not be increasing, so we are left to judge him on a limited discography. As such, with no real hits on his own, it is difficult to see him get in to the Hall of Fame in his own.
