348. New Jack

While we wouldn’t want to see that wrestling style, New Jack was a staple in ECW, and yes that is a pun intended, as he would use a staple gun or any other weapon he could find.  New Jack claims to have multiple justifiable homicides and based on in ring actions (Vic Grimes, Gypsy Joe, Mass Transit, etc.) we believe him.  Entertaining as he was reckless, New Jack won’t make the WWE Hall of Fame, but he does belong on this list.

224. Ed Don George

A former World Champion from the 1930’s, Ed Don George was a former Olympian in the 1928 Games.  He was a recognized World Champion in both Europe and the United States and following his career he would become a successful promoter in both the U.S. and in Cuba.

223. Steve Blackman

Capitalizing on the MMA push of the late 1990’s, The WWF brought in “The Lethal Weapon” Steve Blackman who may have lacked personality but made up for it in bad assery.  (yes we know that isn’t a word)  Blackman would be one of the bright lights of the Hardcore division and probably deserves a higher place in terms of WWE lore.

294. Gus Sonnenberg

One of the few professional wrestlers to defeat Ed “Strangler” Lewis, Gus Sonnenberg was also a former NFL Champion and a fixture in the American Northeast wrestling scene.  Sonnenberg was a major fixture in the New England area, which can’t hurt him in regards to what is essentially a Hall of Fame based in Connecticut.
