In the 1970s Resch was named a Second Team All-Star twice in the ’70s and was also a two-time All-Star in that time frame. Resch was in the top five in Goals Against Average for five years in a row (1974-75 to 1978-79). Resch would earn a third All-Star appearance later in his career as a member of the New Jersey Devils.
