In retrospect, Jim Everett got a bad rap.  He feuded with Jim Rome (who labeled him "Chris" in reference to his play comparing him to the female player, Chris Evert), the Rams gave up a lot for his rights, and he had an overall losing record.

Everything above might be true, but Jim Everett was not exactly blessed with the best supporting cast as a Los Angeles Ram.  The pivot acted was gunslinging and would lead the National Football League twice in Touchdown Passes twice (1988 & 1989) and was second in Passing Yards three years in a row (1988-90) and had well over 20,000 Yards as a Ram.  A Pro Bowler in 1990, Everett was better than most people remember and deserved to be ranked in the Rams All-Time Top 50.
