Doug Smith would play his entire career with the Los Angeles Rams which would span 14 seasons and 180 Games, an incredible achievement considering he went undrafted out of Bowling Green!
Smith would be used as a back-up Center and later was Right Guard for the first four seasons of his career, but he would land the permanent job as the Rams starting Center in the 1982 season. From 1984 to 1989 he was named to the Pro Bowl and was the anchor of a solid Offensive Line that brought Los Angeles to many playoffs. He would play until 1991.
