There are many forgotten players in the history of the NFL, which needless to say is the case for many an NFL team. This is especially true if that franchise relocates.
One such player is Alex Sandusky, who was a 16
th Round Pick from Clarion University in 1954. The Offensive Lineman would immediately step in as the Colts' starting Right Guard, and he would hold that slot until he retired after the 1966 season. He would help Baltimore win the 1958 and 1959 NFL Championship, and he would start 165 of 166 Games over a career entirely spent with the Colts.
