30. Don Meredith

“Dandy” Don Meredith arrived from SMU to the Dallas Cowboys, and the original Cowboy would become Dallas’ star Quarterback in 1963.

Annually, after that, Meredith would ascend to the upper-tier of NFL Quarterbacks.  The pivot would secure his first Pro Bowl selection in 1966, and captured that accolade the next two years.  In Yards per Completion, Meredith was the league leader in both 1965 and 1966, and upon his retirement in 1968, he had 17,199 Passing Yards with 135 TD passes.  "Dandy" Don entered the Cowboys Ring of Honor in 1976.

Meredith would later become an original member of Monday Night Football and was a successful broadcaster over his career.
