Drafted in the fifth round (148th overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft from Texas A&M, Mr. Geoff Hangartner demonstrated essential versatility and interior stability through two separate tenures with the Carolina Panthers. Capable of playing as a center, guard, and tackle, Mr. Hangartner established himself as a dependable utility lineman during the mid-2000s and early 2010s in Charlotte.

Hangartner’s initial four NFL seasons (2005–2008) were spent with the Carolina Panthers, where he served as a versatile backup, filling various roles across the interior line whenever injuries occurred. In 2008, he assumed the position of full-time starting center. In 2008, he signed with the Buffalo Bills as a free agent and commenced two complete seasons as a starter. Subsequently, in 2011, he returned to Western North Carolina to assume the role of right guard, holding this position for two years alongside tackle Jordan Gross and center Ryan Kalil. His final year in Charlotte was hindered by injuries, resulting in his release prior to the 2013 season.
