Drafted in the second round by the Detroit Lions, Jason Hanson was their Place Kicker for twenty-one seasons. Hanson was a reliable kicker and would retire in third place all-time in Field Goals Made and Points Scored. He would also be selected to play in two Pro Bowls. Still, as reliable as he was, without a First Team All Pro nod, it is difficult to see how he can make into Canton despite the statistical accumulation.
