Brent Grimes had already been in the NFL for six seasons (2007-12) with the Atlanta Falcons, going to the Pro Bowl in 2010m but when he signed with the Miami Dolphins as a Free Agent in 2013, it was not likely thought that he would be the top Defensive Back with the team.
