Marcell Dareus

Marcell Dareus was a stud Defensive Tackle at Alabama, where he aided Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide in winning the 2010 BCS National Championship.  Dareus went number three in that year’s draft, going to the Buffalo Bills, where expectations were high.

Initially, the Bills were pleased, as Dareus was an All-Rookie in 2011, with Pro Bowls coming in 2013 and 2014, as well as a First Team All-Pro in ’14.  Dareus became the leader of the “Cold Front”, in what looked to be an up-and-coming defense, with Dareus, playing at Right Defensive Tackle as its heart.  He did however have substance issues, and he was suspended twice.  Dareus’ play dropped off in 2016, and he was traded to Jacksonville during the next season.

After making a comeback in 2018, Dareus was injured through most of 2019, and was no picked up by another team.
