Jahri Evans was unique in that he didn’t play competitive football until high school, and what a career he would have!

Evans was a fourth-round pick from Bloomsburg University in 2006 by the New Orleans Saints.  He played right guard and won the starting role in training camp.  Part of the New Orleans Saints Super Bowl XLIV Championship Team, Evans spent 11 years with the Saints, earning six Pro Bowl selections, four First-Team All-Pro selections, and a spot on the 2010s All-Decade Team.  Evans was one of the best pure blockers in his era, using his speed and wingspan to carve out holes for his rushers and protect Drew Brees.  How many Saints wins can be attributed to Evans' work in the trenches?  A lot!

Overall, Evans started all 183 of his NFL Games, an incredible feat from a terrific football player.

Although he became more known for the sexual assault case in 2014 (which alleged that he was a serial rapist), Darren Sharper was known mostly on the gridiron for his defensive skills and for leading the National Football League in Interception Return Yards three times.

Sharper would also lead the NFL in picks twice, return Touchdowns three times, and was a five-time Pro Bowler who helped the New Orleans Saints win their first Super Bowl. Does this eliminate any issues that he had in his personal life? We were curious to find out, but we think we know the answer.
