255. Frank Cope

Frank Cope was a member of the 1930's All-Decade Team, although most of his career took place in the 1940s.

Debuting with the New York Giants as a rookie in 1938, he would help the G-Men win the NFL Championship.  That may have been the only title that he would win, but he would have two Pro Bowl seasons and a First Team All-Pro Selection in 1945.  Cope was one of the better Tackles of his day, but it has to be remembered that many of his peers were serving the United States in World War II when he had some of his best years.  This, however, should not take away from his overall career, which was clearly very good.
