N'Sync

If we go by post breakup success, N’Sync was pretty much Justin Timberlake and four other guys; which were probably fairly accurate. We have sad before that Boy Bands don’t belong in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and we don’t plan on changing our opinion here.

Nate Dogg

Although Nate Dogg was associated with a large amount if hits, it was always as a side role. Dogg has since left us so his body of work will not be increasing, so we are left to judge him on a limited discography. As such, with no real hits on his own, it is difficult to see him get in to the Hall of Fame in his own.

78. Muse

One of the top English acts of the 00s, Muse made that important North American breakthrough that is vital for any U.K. band to have for Hall of Fame consideration. It made perfect sense for Muse to break through as they have a musical style that appealed to Alternative lovers and the Classic Rock lovers who can hear the Progressive elements in their songs. As this is a band that continues to evolve this is a group developing a strong resume for Cleveland, but this is by no means a slam dunk.

344. Mos Def

Had Mos Def not entered the acting world, we think there would have been a chance that he would be one of the rappers who could have entered the Hall of Fame. We probably will never know, but he did make noise with his swaggering brand of Rap that made many fans wish he would have stayed focused on his music as opposed to his acting.
