Despite their name, Blues was not exactly the staple genre of the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. In fact, the Blues really played very little in the catalogue of music that the group did. Actually, trying to categorize this group was always difficult, as they bounced between varying places in the Alternative spectrum, though regardless of where they landed, they were always unique. 

Although many in North America considered Jamiroquai a one hit wonder from the Global smash, Virtual Insanity, the British band was anything but. Scoring hit after hit in their native England (and they were successful on the U.S. Dance charts too), the band developed their smooth blend of Acid Jazz to near perfection. With a soulful Stevie Wonderesque vocal, they continue to deliver a successful blend of music that delights fans worldwide.  

Embracing their Irish roots and with White Rappers slowly being accepted by this point, House of Pain managed to score big with the International hit, Jump Around. They did record three albums, but try to find anyone who knows anything other than that one major hit. Not exactly a Hall of Fame resume. 

Generally Heavy Metal is not associated with innovation, but Fear Factory is definitely an exception to that statement. Blending Death/Industrial Metal with Electronica, Fear Factory continued the evolution of Metal and inspired another wave of headbanging musicians. Creatively, the band also explored complex lyrics and was known for taking their listeners on a journey throughout their albums. Their limited Hall of Fame chances however lie upon whether their Metal forefathers get in.
