James Woods plays weaselly characters well, and here is again in a small role as a failing record label owner who is in debt to a hip-hop gangster/producer. In Be Cool, he plays Tommy Athens (we do love the name by the way), but as mentioned, it was a brief role as he was killed early into the film.
