Julian "Dice" Black played a club DJ who sees the immense talent of Billie Frank, and he becomes her manager of sorts, while also being her boyfriend. Basically, Black is a low-end Tommy Mottola since this film (Glitter) is essentially a poor semi-autobiographical account of Mariah Carey’s life. He doesn’t live through the end of the picture.
