Billy Beretti was the owner of Creedmoor Records, who once had Lucious Lyon on his label. That was some time ago as Lucious founded Empire and the two labels feuded, culminating in Beretti convincing the youngest son, Hakeem, to sign with Creedmoor. That was until the
"Gay Tupac," Jamal Lyon threatened to throw him over a balcony much the same way that Suge Knight did to Vanilla Ice. Jamal also got Beretti to sign over all of Lucious’ original recordings back to his father in perpetuity.

That must have been a “banner day in the Bender…er…Beretti household”.
