Everybody knows the Wizard of Oz (at least they should), and most also are aware of "The Wiz," the African-American version.
What you might not know is there was an Australian "Rock" version called "Oz: A Rock 'n' Roll Movie," where this version of Dorothy is a groupie for a band called Wally and the Falcons. We don't hear much of their music; the band members were reimagined as a Wizard, a surfer, a mechanic, and a biker after Dorothy suffers a concussion from a car accident.
Seriously, this was the plot.
Incidentally, the Wizard was also a singer, and yes, you can vote for him too!
