Vic Fontaine

While there are some others who are nominated that are lounge singers, but there is nobody more "fictional" than Vic Fontaine, who is also a hologram. Played by James Darren, who was himself a successful crooner in the early '60s, Fontaine was quite the charming character and a throwback of sorts who became a semi-regular who was dispensing advice and acting as a conscience of sorts. This character was a love him or hate him character but definitely an original one.
