In the 1970 film, "Performance" Mick Jagger (in his first film role) played the bisexual and reclusive singer, Turner Purple. Turner's music is not exactly the focus of the film but rather the breakdown of Jagger's co-lead, James Fox, who portrayed an East London gang member. This movie is a love it or hate it piece, that is thought of as a cult film nowadays, but it is undoubtedly unique.
