Depending on your point of view, Don Kirschner was a musical genius or a cancerous cist on what real music is supposed to be. In 1970, Kirschner had an idea to merge pop music with sci-fi, and this resulted in Tomorrow, a film about a band with the same name. As the story goes, their music entertained a group of aliens who they found entertaining, so they did what aliens do; they abducted them so that they could play for them.
Seriously, that was the plot.
