From the 1980 Punk Rock film, Times Square, we have a pair of teenage girls from differing backgrounds with a street kid (Nicky Marotta) and a rich kid (Pamela Pearl) who meet with when both were sent to the hospital for psychiatric observation. The two formed a bond, and with lesbian undertones, they form a band while on the run. They are assisted by a local DJ (Tim Curry) they become cult heroes in New York City, a perfect theme for what would become a cult film.
