What a rough life it had to be for Ricky Stratton to grow up rich. To add to his burden, he had a cup of coffee as the lead singer of pop band that he managed when he had to step in as the usual frontman came down with a case of laryngitis right before they were to perform on the Rock Search show. He was beloved by the teen girls for the rest of that episode for his rock star appeal…even though it was straight up 80’s bubblegum. That usually works too.
